This year&#8217;s host club is Metcalfe.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial Unicode MS',serif; color: black;\">The competition will take place on July 12, 2026<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"western\" style=\"line-height: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial Unicode MS',serif; color: black;\">The top 8 players from the qualifying round (7 players plus 1 substitute) will make up the Buckingham Golf Club Intersectional team.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"western\" style=\"line-height: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial Unicode MS',serif; color: black;\">If there are 3 players for 7th and 8th place, the tie-breaking rule (retro) will be applied with consultation of the Pro.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"western\" style=\"line-height: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial Unicode MS',serif; color: black;\">All players with an index of 24.0 or less who enjoy competition and team spirit are welcome.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"western\" style=\"line-height: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial Unicode MS',serif; color: black;\">The main objective is to have the club&#8217;s top 8 players on the team at the time of the competition.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"western\" style=\"line-height: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial Unicode MS',serif; color: black;\">Ranking is done on the day the team registers.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"western\" style=\"line-height: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial Unicode MS',serif; color: black;\">We&#8217;ll go with the handicap of the day.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"line-height: 19.8pt; margin: 0cm 0cm 7.5pt 0cm;\"><b><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;\">Registration deadline: May 13<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 12.0pt;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1st round May 23 2nd round May 31 L&#8217;Intersectionnelle aims to qualify the club&#8217;s top 8 players to compete against three other golf clubs in the Ottawa Valley region.
