The Festival of birdies <strong>with <em><u>handicap <\/u><\/em>and non-index.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p><strong>Example: a woman with an index of (14.3) will play with a handicap of (-6) for modified junior milestones.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Example<\/strong>: <strong>a man<\/strong> with an index of (2.2) will play with a handicap of <strong>+5<\/strong> from milestones <strong>4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We offer a format that we think is electrifying.<\/p>\n<p>No gross score will be retained.<\/p>\n<p>The top six teams will be awarded scholarships based on their scores. <strong><em><u>with handicap<\/u><\/em><\/strong> and <strong>not<\/strong> INDEX.<\/p>\n<p>The Florida formula will be used.<\/p>\n<p><strong>OBLIGATION<\/strong>: each player must use SEVEN 4-FLOAT starts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men<\/strong> play with milestones<strong><em> 4<\/em><\/strong>Yes, you read that right.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men<\/strong>over <strong>80<\/strong> start from the milestones <strong><em>5<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>All <strong>women<\/strong> will start from the modified <strong><em>junior milestones.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em> <\/em>MILESTONES WILL BE BROUGHT FORWARD TO EQUALIZE THE PERCENTAGE OF ADVANCEMENT RECEIVED BY MEN AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.  <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>TEAMS ARE MADE UP OF TWO PLAYERS TAKING INTO ACCOUNT ONLY THEIR HANDICAP. EX. one player with a handicap of <strong>20 <\/strong>and a second at <strong>30<\/strong> will have a handicap of<strong> 25<\/strong> for the tournament. AGE IS NOT CONSIDERED.
